Photoshoot at Ashford Rail Works, May 2011

Last week I did the make-up for a photoshoot at Ashford Rail Works with Cap2ure photography. The Model we used was Emma Harrower, great to work with and looked amazing as always.

I was asked by Cap2ure if i would be the make-up artist for the shoot which was great as the Rail works was a great location and we were the first people to be able to shoot there.

Cap2ure wanted to get some fashion shots in the quirky location.

The first make-up look I created was smoky eyes with a nude colour lip. I used MAC studio fix foundation, this gave a lovely flawless finish and always photographs great. For the eye colour I used dark blue and black MAC eyeshadow and blended in a Benefit highlighter above the brows and the inside of the eye. Used a rosy coloured MAC blusher and for the lips MAC ‘Hue’ lipstick which is fabulous for giving a nude sheen to the lips.

Emma then changed into a rock/funky style clothes so I changed the make-up to reflect this. I went more heavy on the MAC black eyeshadow and blended this further out, along with a liquid black eyeliner  to give a more dramatic look. I applied extra MAC ‘pink swoon’ blusher to accentuate the cheekbones.  Used a Dior Red lipstick to give the Va Va Voom to the look.

For the last change we went for a gothic look. I added a Deep blue glittery shadow to the eyelid and under the eye, to the already smoky eyes. The lip colour I toned down and went for a MAC pigment light pink with a Laura Mercier clear gloss.

Cap2ure took fantastic photos as always and were great to work with and hopefully this will be one of many shoots we work on together.

Emma is a gorgeous model to work with and always fun.

Another Beautilicious make-up photoshoot done :)
